A NEW ORDER

School begins.
Iza is now a primary student.
She adapts quite well ... but not me.
We need to wake up at 6 in the morning ... having breakfast ... preparing sandwishes/snacks for iza's tea time at school ... After school, we rush to activities that iza has been attending for quite some time ... Always, we need to steal time between activites to practice her piano, violin and flute ... Instead of quitting any of them, iza wants to join more activities !!! How can we fit in time for homework ...
I don't have the kind of energy iza has, I find the world up side down ...
Now I'm adjusting to this
WHOLE NEW ORDER ...

I like this picture iza drew last week ... to be precise ... she's not drawing, she's exploring colors ... she put some striking colors onto an earthy ground, mixed them up ...
I just feel I'm in a state like that drawing ...

Iza has finished her kindergarten.
It's such a precious stage in her life, and mine, with all lovely memories (a little rough beginning added a little drama but then everything was fine)...
I just can't tell how much I miss her kindergarten teachers ...
Not only do they care about iza, they also become my support throughout the past few years!

They are the best teachers.

It's a WHOLE NEW PAGE ...
Just want iza to wait for me for a while ...
I will soon be ready ...

I remember well as each of my children started primary school. Somehow kindergarten still felt as if they belonged to thier family, but Primary school...that was different. They would begin to belong to their peers.

Indeed, Iza is a telented girl.

Do we ever stop wishing they would just slow down...time, growing, changing? I love that Iza has so much energy and creativity in her. It's a wonderful thing. And that first picture is straight out of a surrealist fairytale. Beautiful.

She is a treasure your little one. She is so smart and has a ton of energy. Isn't it amazing how fast they grow? I agree with Jeanne, in Kindergarten they still feel like they belong to you. I don't know how I am going to face primary school. I am such a sentimental fool.

I know how you feel about early rise in the morning. Casey just started her first day at nursery today and we had to wake up at 6.30 am. Getting her to finish breakfast on time is always a chore. Hopefully, it will get better when she is a bit older.

Soldier on, my friend. Am always thinking of you and Iza.
