人人自由

This little book was written and illustrated by iza one year ago (with helping hands).
I share this here in the memory of VI.IV. It was TODAY.

"Born to be free" was a clan of dinosaurs.
There were 18 members in their family.
With only 3 "alphabets", they composed their names.
Some names were short.
Some names were really long.

These were the three "alphabets".
Some dinosaurs were red in color.
Some were orange in color.
The infant period of dinosaurs was long.
They were still babies before 10 years old.
Before they could walk, mother dinosaurs also used strollers to carry their babies.
They loved to walk in the forest and had leaves for their meals.

Until one day, humans cut all the trees.
The forest disappeared.

Hunters used weapons to kill the dinosaurs to get their beautiful skin.
To protect the survived baby dinosaurs,

we kept them in the zoo.
The baby dinosaurs were sad.
They were no longer free.

THE BOOK

.
.
.
" We are all born free and equal.
We all have our own thoughts and ideas.
We should all be treated in the same way.
These rights belong to everybody,
Whatever our differences."
From the book We are all born free :
The universal Declaration of Human Rights in Pictures

I would love to dedicate this little book to dear Kenza. Wish Petite Caramel would love reading this. (When i read your post about the gun, i recalled this little book...)

very creative little book, the right theme for June 4th, bravissima!!! It's remind us how precious are freedom and equality to all of us... regardless of the colour of skin. Kids learn to be tolerate to others from their parents like yourselves. Let us leave in a world without this discrimination...
