This hits home for me...last week, my husband brought home a crawfish ("crayfish"?) from the Cajun restaurant where he sometimes works. It had been on the menu that week, and there was a live one left over at the end of the night. My husband brought it home in a jar to show to Q. He put it in the refrigerator in its jar, and I felt so badly for it that, in the morning, I decided to take it to the nearest lake and release it. I was very concerned that, after a day in the restaurant kitchen and a night in the fridge, it would be too stressed to survive. So I woke early to drive to the lake and release it. As soon as I dropped it into the lake, it stretched out both its arms and released one of its legs. The leg fell off into the lake. I was horrified! When I got home, I looked it up on the internet, and turns out that crawfish are able to release a leg as a defense mechanism, and then re-grow that leg. I was SO relieved.

The first photo looks like a painting of XIXème C.

Iza looks like a princess in Middle Ages. How classical and beautiful her image is! I felt down to her world.
I love books and I also love it when children get into reading books and the stories they imagine :) Have a great day sweets,
