HAPPY EASTER

We've dyed some eggs with organic food colorings ... only could we get red and green colors from the store, we tried to mix colors ourselves.
What happened was really amazing.
The same portion of red and green came together to produce a dark green dye, instead of brown or dark grey... The exterior of eggs became purple, not the expected dark green ... But the interior of shells (we also put some broken egg shells into it) turned into a beautiful emerald green! It's magical !!
We are going to use some natural ingredients for dyeing eggs in the Holidays.

Today is also the Children's Day in Hong Kong.
Wish you all a wonderful day!

Happy Children's day to Iza, then.
In a few minutes, the day will begin with Loulou searching chocolate easter eggs through our flat as it is pouring rain outside.
(and thanks again for the tips on music lessons).

Magical indeed! I love that photo of the fractured egg shell.

"Purple" is Q's favorite word right now, so if you ask her to make a choice in pretty much any arena, she always says "purple"...be it icecream, crayons, straws, juice...

She just likes to say "purple" I guess.

Hi, Alliot, I am back:)
Happy children's day to Iza!!!
The color are really amazing!
It seems we have a different way to do with the eggs here in Norway? We only did some drawing on the egg but not coloring...
