PAPER HEAD PIECE

Last summer, we've seen an interesting project from a group of university students through upon a fold.
Iza decided to make her own head piece.

" Why don't they have simple designs? Their solutions are too complicated,"
iza said.

After a few experiments, she came to this design.
She cut two parallel lines in the middle of a piece of paper, then a headgear was formed.
It could be worn in three ways. More pictures here.
She is a minimalist.

If you like to find out what iza was drawing on the day in Shuhe, have a look here :)

This is fantastic! I seem to use this adjective a lot when I come here, but it is true. "fantastic" as in dreams, beyond imagination. Iza is precious!

I need to make en effort to do a better record of my girls as well. They make things all the time.
It is also important to spend time together with the children.
Iza is so lucky to have you, Alliot.
She absolutely has the talent.

Dear Fei An,
Yes! Keep a better record. They grow too fast.
I find that they may not always need us in their creative process.
If I am too involved in iza's design or creative process, I will become her hinderance.
A huge obstacle.
Less is more ... less guidance is better.
Children are far more imaginative and creative than adults.
The thing I always do is sharing with her some interesting materials I come across ... maybe she can get inspired ... or she may not.
But, most of the time, I find myself being inspired by her.
It's the fun to have a child as your companion ... he/she will lead us to experience and see the world differently.
A total different perspective.
I don't know whether iza is lucky to have us ...
But definitely ziggy and I are blessed to have a child.
You are double blessed.
You have two beautiful and lovely children :)

Yes, Alliot, we are double blessed as parents and children. Sometime, I wish I were more artistic and creative as you and Ziggy are. Every time, I saw Iza's amazing creative work, I think "Is it because she has Alliot and Ziggy as parents?"

However, what you just wrote make me at more ease: "I find that they may not always need us in their creative process.

If I am too involved in iza's design or creative process, I will become her hinderance.
A huge obstacle.

Less is more ... less guidance is better...."

But still, I admire the part "The thing I always do is sharing with her some interesting materials I come across ... maybe she can get inspired ..." I will be better there. Thanks for sharing all these.

Yes, children are great inspiration. "It's the fun to have a child as your companion ... he/she will lead us to experience and see the world differently.
A total different perspective."
So true, so true.

Please share more in the coming days. I really enjoy every words you write and any picture you took. I am very lucky to meet you here. This is not the first time I say this and will not be the last time, I suppose:)
