(Milan 2011 April)

My dear friends, i'm so sorry for my absence.
This period of time seems so long to me ... i could hardly see the way out ...
Till i start reading articles, books, blogs related to emotional needs of children (with sensitive emotions) again ... i understand we are not alone ...
Though in real life situations ... i don't know how far i can uptake the pressure ...
Today ...
A blissful day ... i have a camera with me again after the long retreat ...
Wish you all a nice week.

I discovered your blog through Alexandra. Never left a comment. I appreciate your artistic sense. I come visit each post you leave. Could you let me know who is the author of this red-green sculpture-installation? Thanks! Have a good day!

Oh Alliot, I am so glad you are back. I miss you and Iza so much! Your words always moves me. I feel a mum's love to her child. 'Though in real life' I am with you on this. You are not alone, never alone. Big hugs. Yanyan

Dear Terre indienne,
Thanks so much for dropping by and i'm so glad you enjoy our blog.
Please do come again :)
The installation was by ingo maurer. It's quite an impressive experience as we watched the center pendulum swinging side by side mirroring the strong red and green.

Alliot,
Whew! missed you darling.
Love tis new installation. Incredible.

As for the other hinted at topic....you are not alone and I will tell you that raising an artistic, genius daughter who is an only child is not easy. But worth it!

I know! I have one too and also gray hair. She is 30!

Iza has artist genius for Mother.

Reach out. We are all here.

So nice to have you and everyone back. I put some Chinese poetry on the blog thinking of you! (and YanYan and Yoli!)
Many kisses and happy returns!

Dear Alliot, so nice to have you back, we miss you and Iza so much.
This post is breathtaking. Your photos of the Ingo maurer installation are really exceptional.
I'm so touched by your words, I so often share the same feelings and concerns... "in real life situations", I find myself so unable to resist the pressure, too often.
I agree with Yoli and Jeanne Ming, you shouldn't doubt yourself. Iza is a beautifully talented girl, growing up amidst art and beauty. You're a wonderful mother, Alliot.

Dear Alliot and Iza,

How are ladies doing? We have been missing you! I hope everything is going fine with you and Iza. As for us, it is first school day today and Anette begins her primary school life today as well. Anja will begin with her viola lesson tomorrow. It is hard for me to get back to the mood of Real life in Norway after so long stay in China. ..I am making an effort. Hope we can talk soon. Have a nice week. Don't worry, be happy. Everything will be fine....words to you and to myself as well.

You are more and more artistic with your photos. So beautiful. Our Qiu is just finding her stride in emotional unison with us, so we have not yet reached the next difficult phase...but I know it will come. I can't help dreading it, but also - this is how our children find their own voices in the world. It's hard for us as parents, but for them it is so very necessary. Wishing you strength and peace. Much love to you all. OOXX

I hope really that this pressure will disappear. I don 't know the cause, but our kids are big topics of inquiry.

I don't know how to express my thankfulness to you all. I'm lack of words. Just want to say my heartfelt thanks my dear Terre indienne, Yanyan, Nath, Jeanne ming, Yoli, Kenza, Amelie, Thilda, Justine, Fei An, Teri D, Vivian, Maia, Marie of CdP, Grace, Karen of Misha Lulu!! Your words warm my heart and give me strength.

I have come through a lovely post through "innreach" - The Kaleidoscope of colours. I love these words and wish i can remember this well :) Sharing here with you.

"I have thought, in retrospect that Kaleidoscopes could be used as a nice conversation to have with kids, when speaking of resilience and also perspectives, changing views and survival.  Buy them a Kaleidoscope and teach:  When it starts to get dark, remember to twist the lens, shake up the colours and turn your Kaleidoscope towards the light."
